Please note that our adoption policies are changing due to the COVID-19 crisis.
The safety of our adopters, staff, and their families is of the utmost importance to us. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, Judy's Forgotten Jewells will be implementing new protocol to help prevent the spread of the virus and to protect our community.
We are asking our potential adopters to please stay home if they or anyone they are in contact with are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19. The symptoms listed by the CDC are as follows:
We also ask that you stay home if you have recently traveled outside of the country, or to any states with a large amount of COVID-19 cases.
To prevent exposure and follow the CDC recommendations for social distancing, we are asking our adopters to have only one adult come inside of the building to meet with your potential pet. We ask that no minors or immunocompromised adults enter our building at this time.
We are limiting our adoption appointments to people who are very serious about adoption. We understand that meeting with a puppy or kitten is very exciting! For now, we are asking potential adopters to only schedule an appointment if they are serious and prepared to adopt a pet.
At this time, we are only accepting credit/debit cards as a form of payment. All transactions will be done over the phone.
We are asking potential adopters to have their application filled out prior to coming in.
Thank you for your patience and understanding while we navigate this process. This is unprecedented and we are doing our best to best serve both the humans and pets in our community. These policies can change at any time, we are monitoring the situation closely and will follow all CDC & Federal Recommendations.
